Crawler Cranes Boom Hoist

Description

Especially huge crawler cranes demand a strong wire rope to lift and adjust the heavy boom. Casar recommends rope constructions that are able to withstand the strong lateral pressure on the drum just at the moment when the boom is leaving the ground. The boom hoist rope needs to have a high filling factor and a surface as round and smooth as possible in order to avoid crushing and ovalization on the drum.
